Key Responsibilities
Manage a book of business for Key Account customers
Develop strategic initiatives and business plans
Forge relationships with key customers and consultants
Renew customer accounts in the targeted segment
Demonstrate value propositions for business growth
Lead account management team
Exceed objectives for customer satisfaction and retention
Secure new business through effective marketing
Become a subject matter expert for customers and brokers
Required Qualifications
MA Insurance license
5+ years of strategic and consultative selling experience within the Insurance industry
Experience working with brokers and consultants for Key Account groups
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of UHC's portfolio of products
Knowledge of business planning and financial/underwriting
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Ability to navigate complex organizations
Solid negotiation and leadership skills
Ability to create and implement strategic vision
Team player and customer-focused
Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills
