Key Responsibilities
Conduct vascular ultrasound exams including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal studies
Use Doppler technology and ultrasound equipment to assess blood flow and identify vascular conditions
Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort during exams
Identify and document normal and abnormal imaging findings for physician interpretation
Ensure proper patient positioning and use of equipment for optimal image quality
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Calibrate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipment
Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
Support a clean and organized working environment
Required Qualifications
1 year of experience as a Vascular Technologist
Current BLS certification
RVT, RVS, or ARDMS National Certification
Preferred Qualifications
State licensure
