ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Initiate Quality Assurance activities including development of Performance Improvement Plans
* Understand CMS Quality Measurement system and implement Initiatives aimed at improvement
* Oversight and development of assigned KPI’s
* Assist with the orientation and training of new nursing line staff and nursing management staff
* Ensure compliance with all CMS, WI DQA, and other regulatory bodies
* Develop and implement staff training programs regarding regulatory compliance, documentation, fall prevention, etc.
* Assist in the evaluation and effectiveness of quality initiatives
* Supervise and develop educational programs in accordance with state and national regulations
* Oversight of Clinical Reimbursement process including Minimum Data Set submissions as needed
* Maintenance and implementation of the organization's policies procedures.
* Serve as Skilled Nursing Interim Director of Nursing as needed
* Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Frequently lifts and carries equipment and supplies weighing 25 pounds.
