Job Description
As a Retail Sales Supervisor at Staples, you will lead a team to enhance customer engagement and drive sales. You'll provide exceptional service and solutions while managing store operations and coaching your team for success. Key Responsibilities
Champion customer engagement and oversee front of store operations
Focus on increasing sales, conversions, and service throughout the store
Provide peer coaching and support to the store team
Perform Floor Leader role, directing the team to deliver a great customer experience
Own weekly sales and merchandising activities
Complete daily tasks for merchandising and sales opportunities within the store
Assist with operational tasks in partnership with the GM
Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
1+ year experience selling retail products or services
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store's needs
Must be able to engage with customers and understand their needs
Effective communication skills
Experience coaching a team and/or supervising others
Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range
