Key Responsibilities
Ensure all guests receive polite, friendly greetings
Achieve budgeted sales and gross profits for departments
Prepare products for sale including meat cutting and pricing
Maintain inventory and supplies for the department
Operate the department according to merchandising guidelines
Ensure high quality and freshness of products available for sale
Maintain safety and sanitation standards
Provide guidance and training to department staff
Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, and guest service
Maintain labor budget and optimal scheduling for the department
Required Qualifications
Good interpersonal skills
Effective selling skills
Ability to work well with others
Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly
Ability to read and understand information and directions
Knowledge of meat/seafood products and operations
