JMA Solutions, a leading government contractor for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has a full-time opportunity for an Intermediate II Scientist/Engineer/Systems Analyst providing engineering support for NAS systems. This position is responsible for enhancing NAS infrastructure, performing system optimization, and supporting in-service modifications and restorations. The role requires experience in FAA engineering processes, system design, and technical documentation.

This position is part of a proposal we are sourcing and is ONSITE at one of the following locations:

  1. Washington, D.C.
  2. Oklahoma City, OK
  3. Anchorage, AK
  4. Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Job Requirements:

  1. Expertise in FAA air traffic systems, NAS infrastructure, and air transportation operations.
  2. Proficiency in system modeling, performance evaluation, and data analysis.
  3. Experience with FAA communication and surveillance systems (e.g., radar, satellite, and radio networks).
  4. Knowledge of FAA system modification and maintenance processes.
  5. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and FAA stakeholders.
  7. Travel may be required to support engineering projects at various FAA locations.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in FAA NAS systems engineering, systems analysis, or related fields.

SALARY: $94,000 - $101,000 depending on experience and education levels. JMA Solutions offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, life insurance, and a 401(k) match.
