1. Processes MR I scan sequences ; v er ifi es demographics and techn i cal i nformat i on ; chec k s technica l qual i ty of i mages .
2. Participates as a member of a spec i al i zed med i cal team in performing spec i al i zed MR I scans of v arious organs and i n prepar i ng patients for spec ifi c procedures . R e v i e w s patholog y , surgica l , and other reports to mon i tor pat i ent progress and pro v i de a means for e v aluating the accurac y of MR I e x aminat i ons .
3. Constant l y assesses pat i ent’s condition and administers first aid as requ i red ; ass i sts ph y s i c i ans in cases of ad v erse reactions or emergenc i es .
4. Confers w i th the Supervisor to recommend changes , report problems and pro v i de feedbac k on improving pat i ent care , technica l qua l i ty and c l erica l functions .
5. M on i tors equ i pment performance and reports prob l ems to the M anager ; records malfunctions as requ i red .
Educational/Experience Requirements:• Successfu l comp l et i on of a one -year accredited program i n MR I T echno l og y or A RR T MR I certificat i on
• Current with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements
Requi r ed License / Certifications:• Current State of M a ry land L icensure (preferred)
• ARRT (MRI) or ARMIRT (required)
• Amer i can H eart Associat i on H ealthcare P ro v i der B L S (required)
