As a Sales Representative for MSI, you'll be responsible for driving sales and margins of countertop products within your assigned territory. This role involves developing customer relationships, providing training on products, and understanding market dynamics to effectively position and promote offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Develop relationships with current and potential customers
Provide knowledge and training on company products
Manage displays, samples, and selling tools
Consult with dealers on retail pricing and promotions
Quote prices and prepare sales contracts
Estimate delivery dates based on schedules
Analyze sales reports to identify potential opportunities
Utilize marketing tools to promote company products
Research and analyze customer needs
Resolve customer claims and issues
Attend trade shows as required
Travel locally and occasionally nationally/internationally
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Two years’ experience in channel distribution sales
Minimum of 2 years of related industry experience (natural stone, slab or hard flooring)
Minimum 2 years of outside B2B sales experience
Strong math skills
Results-oriented
Intermediate computer proficiency
Valid driver’s license
Willing to travel up to 75% of the time
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Good communication and people skills
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well alone or within a team
Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude
Resilience in dealing with customer rejections
Preferred Qualifications
Industry experience in Countertop, Distribution and Building Materials Sales
Bilingual in Spanish
