Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs
Provides educational information to patients regarding injury prevention and rehabilitation
Supervises physical therapy assistants and aids in performing treatment
Establishes a plan of care appropriate to patient needs
Plans and carries out individually designed programs of physical treatment
Administers treatment using physical agents and equipment
Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices
Documents goals and plans for reevaluation
Required Qualifications
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Physical Therapist License in State
Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 30 days of hire
Critical thinking skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a stressful environment
