Key Responsibilities
Assess project sites for unsafe work conditions
Develop site-specific safety plans and Emergency Action Plans
Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Document unsafe work conditions and health hazards
Conduct accident investigations
Manage contractors' safety programs and training
Provide guidance to Safety Specialists
Required Qualifications
5-7 years construction safety managerial experience or equivalent
Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and EPA rules and regulations
Ability to communicate and train effectively
Valid state issued Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Excavation, Trenching, and Soil Mechanics
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or related discipline
CSP, GSP, CHST, or STSC
First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification
