Job Description

Join Raytheon as a Manufacturing Engineer I to develop and enhance manufacturing processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Utilize your engineering skills to create solutions that support our mission of national defense and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions and labor standards
  • Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
  • Analyze non-conforming materials and lead corrective actions
  • Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
  • Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers
  • Develop tools and fixtures to improve ergonomics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Less than 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
  • Technical drawing interpretation and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
  • Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
  • Innovative mindset driving continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Current DoD security clearance (secret)
  • Experience with automated tooling and machinery
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
