Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
Coordinate and implement orientation of nursing staff
Develop and monitor individualized orientation programs
Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver educational curricula
Plan and implement annual competencies
Monitor trends and implement educational strategies for quality compliance
Participate in research to enhance clinical outcomes
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
5+ years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, and/or nursing management in an acute care setting
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Basic certification in Education/Critical Care Nursing
