Job Description

Join Albany Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse III in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit. In this role, you'll play a vital part in providing compassionate care, implementing physician orders, and collaborating with nursing teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments and procedures.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
  • Assesses and evaluates patient needs and responses to care.
  • Applies nursing judgment in patient care management.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
  • Administers medications as ordered.
  • Collaborates with nursing team to create a Plan of Care.
  • Directs and guides ancillary personnel.
