Med/Surg RN Job Details – New Hampshire Healthcare Jobs

• Location: New London, NH 03257
• Healthcare Setting: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/21/2025 – End: 3/22/2026)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC EMR
• Patient Ratio: Up to 6:1, supported by 2 Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs), Nurse Lead, and House Supervisor
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1950 - $2090

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Charge nurse experience required
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to provide a current skills checklist (within 1 year)
• 1 supervisory signed reference from the past two years
• Reliable vehicle for transportation
• COVID vaccination preferred
• New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required for submission

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
• Integrate collaborative care planning for individual patients
• Implement nursing standards in all processes of care
• Serve as charge nurse as needed
• Work collaboratively with LNAs, Nurse Lead, and House Supervisor
• Document patient care and progress using EPIC EMR
• Adhere to facility policies for time off and scheduling requests
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required
