Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles
Conduct road tests to diagnose problems
Mentor new technicians
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Use Penske's tools and technologies for repairs
Complete assigned projects and tasks
Required Qualifications
3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance
Valid driver's license
Ability to solve problems
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
Basic computer skills
Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair
Specialized training in major components (engines, transmissions, differentials)
OEM training courses
ASE Certification
608/609 certifications
