Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Pay Rate: $50.00/hour base + $20.00/hour for Meals
Housing: Facility will provide housing.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) credential required.
  • Mammography credential: ARRT (R)(M) or equivalent mammography certification required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience in mammography examinations, including screening and diagnostic mammography. At least 1 year of mammography experience.
  • Knowledge of mammography principles, practices, protocols, equipment operation (digital mammography, tomosynthesis) and regulatory standards (MQSA, ACR) is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively with patients (including a diverse population), technologists, radiologists, and other team members.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care and safety.
  • Ability to operate computers and imaging software.
  • Preferred: prior experience working in a breast imaging department; familiarity with Alaska Native/American Indian health care context (for SCF) – you may tailor or remove this depending on your facility.
