Job Description
Join Windham Hospital as a Nurse Supervisor (RN) where you will lead and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor the Nursing department on an assigned shift
Ensure appropriate delivery of direct and indirect patient care
Foster continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care outcomes
Ensure patient flow throughout the organization
Provide leadership for multiple hospital departments in the absence of management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Three years of acute care charge or supervisory experience
Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing
Critical care or emergency department nursing experience
Progressive leadership experience
