Siemens Healthineers is currently seeking candidates for Neuro IR Technologist positions that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Florence, SC. This is a travel healthcare contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Requirements:

  • Active ARRT certification + South Carolina Radiation License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience within modality

About Your Role: 

  • As a Travel Neuro IR Technologist, you will be a critical member of a specialized team, assisting in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures for stroke intervention, aneurysm repair, and other neurovascular treatments. Your expertise in advanced imaging and patient care will directly contribute to life-saving interventions.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Operate fluoroscopy and biplane imaging systems to assist in neurovascular procedures such as thrombectomies, aneurysm coiling, and carotid stenting.
  • Ensure precise imaging to guide neurointerventionalists in treating complex cerebrovascular conditions.
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict radiation safety protocols.
  • Prepare contrast media, monitor patient responses, and document procedural details.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and medical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
