Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – OB/GYN
Location: Sault St. Marie, MI
Start Date: 10/6/2025
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Details:
Nights, 12-hour shifts
36 hours/week guaranteed
Every other weekend required
Must have holiday availability
Some on-call required (no weekend call)
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care using the nursing process, including ongoing assessment, interventions, and evaluation of outcomes. The RN functions as both a team leader and resource, delegating and overseeing support staff, while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to establish patient goals and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
(40%)* Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed in the physician-authorized plan of care.
(30%)* Provide direct care including medication administration, treatments, patient education, transfers, call light response, and alarm monitoring.
(20%)* Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans, collaborating with team members to update/revise care as needed.
(10%)* Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and hospital-specific policies.
Submission Requirements:
2+ years of nursing experience – required
Labor & Delivery competency – required
Must have holiday availability – required
Travel experience – preferred
Certifications (Required):
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NRP
