Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

MedAdventures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a reputable Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team in Spartanburg, SC . This role is perfect for an SLP who’s passionate about helping older adults improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing safety in a supportive and collaborative care setting.

You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to assess, treat, and support residents with a wide range of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet residents’ functional goals
• Provide direct therapy services in accordance with physician orders and SNF protocols
• Educate patients, families, and facility staff on treatment techniques and strategies
• Document all services provided in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY may be considered
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
