Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Assist with administrative and clinical tasks including scheduling appointments
Update patient information in EPIC
Take patients’ vital signs
Mentorship and guidance for career development
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school for medical assistants or registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
Minimum one year of clinical experience with skills in obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
6 months customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
6 months experience in a healthcare setting working with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
