Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Position Title:
Travel RN – ICU (Night Shift)

Contract Duration:
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirement: None (may occasionally be offered)

Shift Details:
Variable Night Shift
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Licensure & Certifications Required:

• Active RN license
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CCRN preferred but not required
• PACU experience preferred but not required

Experience Requirements:

• 2 years minimum ICU experience required
• 3–5 years preferred

Floating Requirements:
Yes – May float to Med Surg/Telemetry units

Unit Details:

• Number of Beds: 4
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• EMR: Epic
• Equipment:
  • Hemodynamic Monitoring (Philips – cardiac, respiratory, temp, ETCO2)
  • Glucometer
  • Plum Pumps 360
  • PCA/Epidural (Sapphire pumps)
  • Kangaroo pumps
  • Telemetry

Skills Required:

• ICU/Critical care experience
• Intubation assistance and ventilator management
• Care coordination for critically ill/unstable patients
• Occasional PACU recovery care
• Central line care
• Medication administration
• Vent management
