Key Responsibilities
Supervise Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashier and Night Audit employees
Ensure compliance with SOPs, LSOPs, GAAP, and laws
Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements
Prepare financial statements and reports
Assist in annual budget preparation and forecasts
Train and coordinate implementation of financial controls
Resolve problems with accounting systems and equipment
Ensure compliance with hotel leases and management contracts
Assume responsibilities of the Controller in their absence
Required Qualifications
2 - 4 years of hotel accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Knowledge of accounting functions performed by subordinates
Advanced knowledge of accounting, finance, and hospitality
Ability to analyze activities or information
Ability to make decisions guided by policies and procedures
