Key Responsibilities
Oversee behavioral care and pathway planning for ARC and CARE animals
Ensure high quality, low stress care for patients
Manage and coach a team of behavior experts
Lead research projects and share knowledge
Collaborate with various teams for best practices in animal welfare
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in people management
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Comfortable with humane euthanasia decisions and procedures
Fear Free certified within 6 months of hire
Low Stress Handling – Silver certified or can obtain certification
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in developing/overseeing research projects
Interest in writing scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals
