Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles
  • Troubleshoot major components such as engines and transmissions
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies for repairs
  • Complete training and learn new skills
  • Work on additional projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
  • Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components
  • ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications
  • Experience using all tools of the trade
