Role Summary

The ICU Registered Nurse delivers coordinated, high-acuity nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with established standards and the nursing process. This role involves supervising nursing staff, collaborating across disciplines, and exercising sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and assess patient health data to inform diagnosis and care planning
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve desired outcomes
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Promote a safe, healing environment through evidence-based practices
• Educate patients, families, and team members on health information and care strategies
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties across the care team
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of Oregon (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (required)
• BSN preferred
• Acute care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills
