Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hour Guarantee
Weekend Requirements: 5 shifts per 6-week schedule
On Call Requirements: None
We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Lawton, OK. This is an open ICU , encompassing Medical, Surgical, Cardiovascular, and Neuro ICU care. In special cases (such as when helicopter transport is unavailable), pediatric patients may also be admitted to the unit.
The ICU consists of two sections: a 14-bed unit and a 12-bed unit. Patient placement is determined by bed availability rather than admission reason. Nurses may float to the Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVCU) or ED for holding patients if census is low.
ICU Staffing Ratio: 1:2 (occasional 1:3)
CVCU Staffing Ratio: 1:4
ACLS (AHA) – Required
BLS (AHA) – Required
PALS (AHA) – Required
2+ years of ICU experience – Preferred
Prior travel experience – Preferred
Strong critical care, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator management skills
