Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Fort Worth, Texas 76104 (Texas nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 27, 2025
• End Date: January 26, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM), Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  OR
  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1680
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Surgery Unit (17 beds, including CVOR and Transplant)
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience in an acute care hospital
• Strong neurosurgery experience required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
• Meditech documentation experience preferred
• Excellent patient care and communication skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, specializing in neuro, general, orthopedic, robotic, urology, plastic, heart, and transplant surgeries
• Work collaboratively with surgical technologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Operate advanced OR equipment, including Davinci XI, Globus, Mako robots, and microscopes
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR
• Float to other hospital units as needed
• Comply with hospital dress code and infection control policies
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
