Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
Protect patients and staff from radiation hazards
Read patient charts and relay physician orders
Maintain radiographic files accurately
Comply with safety standards, OSHA, and HIPAA
Clean and maintain radiographic equipment
Maintain radiographic supplies and film
Operate and maintain imaging department equipment
Perform imaging exams according to provider protocols
Required Qualifications
Certified as a medical radiologic technologist
Associates degree in Radiological Technology from an accredited program
CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of radiology procedures and protocols
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Knowledge of electronic health records and practice management systems
