Key Responsibilities

Accurately interpret physician’s scanning instructions
Administer contrast material
Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
Position patient to capture appropriate images
Send images to Radiologist for interpretation
Clean and disinfect patient rooms
Follow infection control and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

Graduate of a JRCERT accredited School of Radiologic Technology
ARRT Radiology certification (ARRT-R)
California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Venipuncture certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist
Experience in a hospital setting
Experience with Trauma and Stroke patients
Experience with advanced exams

Preferred Qualifications

ARRT-CT certification (or willingness to obtain within 1 year)
