Key Responsibilities
Processes radiographic films and verifies demographics and technical information
Completes procedures while maintaining quality of work within an established time frame
Assesses patients' conditions and administers first aid as required
Provides radiation protection to all patients in compliance with safety standards
Confers with manager to recommend changes and provide feedback to improve patient care
Monitors supplies in assigned work area and notifies manager of shortages
Assists with the clinical education of rotating students and orients new staff
Maintains current license, CMEs, and participates in educational activities
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a two-year radiological technology program in AMA approved educational institution
Current certification in diagnostic radiography by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current State of Maryland licensure
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
