Job Description

Join Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort as a Part-Time Recreation Lifeguard, where you'll ensure guest safety while facilitating fun activities like water sports and children's games. The ideal candidate will bring a friendly demeanor and a positive attitude to create memorable experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the well-being and safety of guests
Keep pool areas clean
Answer guest questions
Provide information and assist in recreation equipment/towel rentals
Host supervised children’s activities
Read stories and provide refreshments

Required Qualifications

At least 18 years of age
Valid US driver’s license
US Lifeguard and First Responder certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Pass vision screening with at least 20/25 vision
Ability to observe assigned area
Pass swim test (200 yards swim, tread water, retrieve 10-pound brick)
Heavy lifting and working with chemicals
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors

Preferred Qualifications

Spoke a language other than English
Previous Lifeguarding experience
