Join The Jewish Board as an Entitlement Specialist, where you'll support adults with serious mental illness in accessing essential benefits. You'll play a vital role in ensuring clients' benefits are managed effectively, helping them live as independently as possible while advocating for their needs within the community.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement and maintenance of client benefits
Monitor all client SSA and PA benefits
Ensure Medicaid benefits are intact and maintained for residents
Provide requested materials and work closely with auditors during SSA audits
Prepare and communicate information to clients and staff regarding benefit programs
Facilitate team meetings and case conferences around entitlements
Ensure the accurate completion of client documentation
Develop and maintain linkages with community service providers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services preferred, or HS Diploma with requisite 3 years' experience
A minimum of three (3) years entitlements experience
Prior experience working with adults with mental illness
Excellent casework, administrative and analytical skills
Ability to work individually and as a team player
Organized and meticulous with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
Technologically competent in handling administrative practices
