Job Description
Join Torchy's Tacos as a Kitchen Manager, where you'll oversee all Back of House operations, ensuring high food quality and safety. This role calls for a passionate leader with a knack for developing teams and managing costs, all while promoting a culture of excellence in a fun and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Managing food costs, placing orders, updating pricing, and completing inventories
Selecting, interviewing, and hiring all BOH Team Members
Creating BOH Team Member schedules to meet labor targets
Verifying adherence to recipes and portion sizes by BOH Team Members
Utilizing assessment results to develop action plans for operations and food quality
Communicating directions and fostering a supportive team environment
Running shifts and supporting daily operations
Partnering with Learning & Development for team training and certification
Required Qualifications
3+ years of kitchen management experience
State alcohol-server certification
Manager ServSafe certification
High-level understanding of training and development concepts
Ability to foster teamwork
Leadership skills
Oral and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects at various height levels
