Job Description
Join Judson Park as a part-time Infection Preventionist RN, where you'll lead the infection control program ensuring a safe environment for all. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective infection prevention strategies and make a significant impact on community health.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight of the Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP)
Developing systems to prevent, identify, report, investigate, and control infections
Implementing written standards, policies, and procedures for infection control
Maintaining a system for recording incidents and corrective actions
Assisting in developing guidelines for decontamination and sterilization activities
Annual review and update of the IPCP
Required Qualifications
Completion of Accredited Licensed Nursing Program for an RN
Current LPN/LVN or RN license in Applicable State
Current CPR certification
Minimum of two years of nursing experience or one year as a nursing supervisor
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in nursing, epidemiology, microbiology, medical technology, public health, or other healthcare science
Specialty training in Infection Prevention and Control through accredited continuing education
Clinical observation and assessment skills
Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation and communicate with team members
Skilled Nursing or Senior Care experience
