Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hr Nights)
Location: University Hospitals Lake West Medical Center & TriPoint Medical Center (OH)

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care using the nursing process to help patients and families achieve and maintain optimal health. The RN delivers relationship-based care, demonstrates technical proficiency, and ensures safe practices and positive outcomes. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and leadership that supports both patient care and clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the nursing process to provide direct patient care.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based, relationship-focused care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize clinical outcomes.
• Float to inpatient areas including SDU, MCU, Medical, Surgical, and ED for boarded patients at Lake West, and Stepdown, Med/Surg, CCU, and ED at TriPoint.
• Maintain professional development and contribute to the nursing practice environment.
• Perform RN duties as assigned.

Patient Ratio: 1:5 – 1:6

Certifications Required:

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS

Licensure:

• Active Ohio RN license
