Key Responsibilities
Perform respiratory therapeutic procedures
Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures
Assess patient respiratory status and develop care plans
Implement physician orders and deliver respiratory care
Document assessments and interventions in medical records
Monitor and adjust respiratory equipment
Provide education to patients and families
Serve as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
Current BCLS (AHA) certificate
Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree
Preferred Qualifications
2 years experience as a RCP
ACLS certificate
NRP certificate
PALS certificate
