Key Responsibilities
Managing a high-volume caseload of PIP arbitration matters
Reviewing AR-1 submissions
Preparing Conciliations
Reviewing medical records
Appearing for AAA hearings
Drafting reports
Significant communication with claim partners
Required Qualifications
1-5 years of recent No-Fault paralegal experience preferably in insurance defense or personal injury environment
Experience as a No-Fault Claims Adjuster
Familiarity with Court and American Arbitration Association rules and procedures
Familiarity with New York Civil Court Rules and Procedures
Understanding of medical terminology, CPT Codes, Workers’ Compensation Fee Schedule
Ability to draft pleadings, routine motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
Experience with discovery process
Prior litigation or paralegal experience, paralegal degree/certificate/certification, medical training, or relevant coursework or legal studies degree
