Job Overview

We currently offer an opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to support adult patients in our acute care hospital in the Cleveland facility. This position adds value to patient care and significantly assists individuals with breathing issues. 

Job Responsibilities

• Mechanical ventilation
  
• Medicated aerosol delivery
  
• Airway clearance therapy
  
• Patient monitoring
  
• Oxygen and humidity therapy
  
• Special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.)
  
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
• Complies with all policies and standards.
  
• For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
  
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. 
  

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory (Required) 
  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory (Preferred)
  
• 1+ years Respiratory Therapy (Preferred)
  
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) 
  
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
  
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  
• Being a member of the AARC is strongly recommended.
