Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities
Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results
Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, and language skills
Collaborate with teachers and parents to support communication goals
Incorporate evidence-based techniques into therapy sessions
Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Document therapy sessions and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
Current ASHA certification
Experience providing speech-language therapy in a school or pediatric setting
Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
Experience with assistive technology in speech-language therapy
