Key Responsibilities
Provides educational leadership to direct care providers
Assesses the quality of care for specific patient populations
Coordinates and implements orientation of nursing staff
Collaborates with medical providers and patient care staff
Plans and implements annual competencies
Monitors trends and implements educational strategies
Participates in formal and informal teaching and coaching
Acts as a change agent to integrate theory and evidence-based practice
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Basic certification in Education/Critical Care Nursing
