As a Complex Safety & Health Manager, you'll provide leadership in safety processes, implement corporate safety programs, and ensure compliance with regulations. Your role includes managing safety audits, coordinating training, and collaborating with various teams to promote a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain all corporate Safety and Health programs
Develop and maintain site’s Share Point
Maintain open lines of communication with the Corporate Safety Manager
Assist in the investigation of all near misses and injuries
Track injury trends and develop action plans
Conduct periodic safety and health audits
Provide training support to the organization
Manage security force and ensure site safety
Liaise with outside agencies for safety assessments
Manage the safety departmental budget
Required Qualifications
Five or more years of safety experience in the food industry preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Extensive knowledge in the areas of Workers Compensation, OSHA, DOT, etc.
Excellent computer skills
Must be available 24/7 as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) capabilities would be a plus
