As the Walmart Global Tech (WGT) Generative AI and innovation team, we are building completely new capabilities for our members and associates. This team member is part of the Generative AI and innovation organization and will build new Gen AI and technology based experiences both in-house and in-collaboration with strategic partners. You will get to work on industry leading solutions and be at the forefront of this emerging platform. As a member of Sam's Club and Walmart's Generative AI & innovation team, we are focused on developing groundbreaking new features that allow our customers and members to effortlessly shop at Sam's Club and Walmart while findings efficiencies for our associates (home office and in-field). This team also contributes to the creation of frameworks and applications for both Associates and Members. Positioned within the Generative AI and innovation organization, our team is dedicated to crafting state-of-the-art technology experiences both in-house and in cooperation with strategic partners. Design, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide. Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community. Writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; collaborating with the project team and cross-functional teams; Seek ways to improve software and its effectiveness. 7+ years of experience in design and development of consumer facing software. Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns. ~ Ability to balance the long-term "big picture" and short-term implications. ~· Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies ~ Advanced Java & Python development experience with building highly scalable applications ~ Experience with Agentic AI frameworks & systems Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
