Key Responsibilities of the Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures with precision and efficiency
Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and proper procedural readiness
Monitor patients during and after procedures, documenting findings accurately
Maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal results
Requirements of the Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
ARRT certification in Radiography; post-primary in Vascular Interventional (VI) or Cardiac Interventional (CI) preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
2+ years of interventional radiology experience
Strong knowledge of interventional techniques, imaging protocols, and patient safety standards
