Key Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care and evaluates functional needs
Designs and implements patient care plans
Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care
Directs support staff to achieve patient goals
Communicates effectively with other professionals
Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans
Enhances professional growth through educational programs
Required Qualifications
Knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of patients
Ability to remain calm in emergency or crisis situations
Graduate of an APTA approved physical therapy program
At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide
Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a skilled nursing facility
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
