The Director oversees the Adult and Family Residential Division, providing clinical and administrative supervision to ensure residents with serious mental illness achieve stability and independence. This role involves leadership, program development, and a commitment to trauma-informed care in alignment with the agency's values.
Key Responsibilities
Provides administrative and clinical supervision
Ensures overall clinical, operational, and fiscal oversight of assigned programs
Leads recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations of staff
Conducts regular apartment inspections
Develops and implements new programs and initiatives
Available and on-call 24/7 to manage urgent situations and client crises
Required Qualifications
LCSW, MSW, or other clinical qualification preferred
At least two years of supervisory experience in residential services or related human services programs
Substantial experience in working with seriously mentally ill population
Understanding of trauma-informed care
Understanding of co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse addiction
Preferred Qualifications
MPA, MPH, or related degree
Compassion and respect for vulnerable individuals
Patience and understanding for the slow process of stabilization and recovery
