Key Responsibilities
Perform hand calculations for higher detail analysis models
Conduct detailed thermal analyses for program challenges
Generate test plans to validate analyses and hardware compliance
Analyze test data for model validation and correlation
Collaborate on problems of moderate complexity
Review work for technical accuracy with peers
Present results to various stakeholders
Document work and archive for reference
Act as a technical leader and/or lead analysis/test teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in STEM or 9+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
5 years of relevant experience
Experience with thermal analysis tools (FloTHERM, PATRAN, Thermal Desktop/SINDA, ANSYS)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in mechanical principles for classical thermal analysis
Thermal testing experience: planning, execution, data reduction
Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
8+ years of professional experience in thermal analysis
Experience with solid modeling CAD tools (CREO or equivalent)
Experience in Electronics Cooling and Aerodynamic Heating Analyses
Experience leading a team of thermal analysts
Experience presenting to external customers
Ability to travel for program activities
Advanced degree in related disciplines (ABET preferred)
