Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate clinical treatment programs for mental health needs
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and maintain confidential records
Collaborate with physicians for patient evaluations regarding medications
May supervise Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, or Associate Marriage Family Therapists
Utilize public and private resources for member treatment needs
Participate in departmental program development and evaluation
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California)
Must be familiar with DSM-V
Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric conditions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of social service agencies and state regulations
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
Competence in individual, family, and group psychotherapy
Preferred Qualifications
Previous post-license experience on a psychiatric treatment team
Experience in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity
Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner
