Key Responsibilities
Adheres to the LPN scope of practice by contributing to the assessment of health status.
Deliver direct patient care, including administering treatments as prescribed.
Document and report patient condition, care delivery, and post-procedure follow-up.
Administer prescribed medications and document according to policy.
Create a compassionate, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Incorporate Exceptional Patient Experience principles into care interactions.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Practical Nursing Formal Education approved by the NM Board of Nursing
Licensed Practical Nurse-NM
BLS required
Preferred Qualifications
PDS IV Certification course (within orientation period)
Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias (BCA) for areas where cardiac telemetry monitoring is used (prior to ACLS)
ACLS (within 6 months of being hired) for areas where required
