Lincoln Electric seeks a Plant Mechanical Engineer to support and execute projects in our manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate in a team environment to execute capital projects
Take responsibility for mechanical aspects of projects
Develop engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety
Create and maintain sustainable documentation for engineering teams
Design solutions that comply with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
Provide capital cost estimates and establish project timelines
Specify and solicit equipment quotations
Deliver technical support to Production and Maintenance departments
Coordinate with process engineering, production, maintenance, and supply management teams
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
3+ years' experience for level II Engineer
5+ years' experience for level III Engineer
Strong desire to take ownership of tasks and deliver results
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Demonstrates good judgment, self-motivation, and a commitment to safety
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
Flexibility to handle diverse assignments and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to perform hands-on work and work collaboratively on the shop floor
Preferred Qualifications
Technically proficient in CAD modeling (Solid Edge; AutoCAD)
Willingness to occasionally work off shifts and travel between facilities
